Hello! I’m Saya (pronounced sah-yah), Owner and Creative Director of Saya Creative. I’ve been a professional graphic designer for over 20 years, and creativity has been part of my DNA for as long as I can remember. From childhood sketches to full-scale brand systems, creating has always been my passion. I like to say I’m an artist at heart and a designer by trade.
After earning my B.F.A. in Graphic Design from Auburn University in 2006, I’ve continued to grow and evolve as a designer, working across a wide range of print and digital mediums. Along the way, I’ve had the privilege of collaborating with incredible people, businesses, and organizations, including Auburn University, Chicken Salad Chick, Priester’s Pecans, Beatrice Bakery, and the City of Auburn Parks and Recreation Department—just to name a few.
I believe that every business, no matter the size, is built by real people with real dreams they’re passionate about sharing with the world. I take design very seriously (and absolutely love it). For me, design is never simply about just making something look good. It’s about bringing ideas to life, elevating brands, and helping dreams grow through thoughtful, effective design strategies that support long-term success for everyone involved.
